As an Amazon Associate SmartPicks earns from qualifying purchases. When you click an Amazon link on our site and buy something — whether the product we linked or anything else during that visit — Amazon pays us a small commission. The price you pay is identical to what you would pay going to Amazon directly. There is no markup, surcharge, or tracking fee added to your order.

We are also a participant in other affiliate programs from time to time. Whenever a link earns us a commission we identify it as an affiliate link next to the product (typically with a small badge or a banner at the top of the post).

Affiliate income funds our work, but it does not control what we recommend. The picks on SmartPicks are chosen on merit: verified ratings, reviewer consensus, hands-on or AI-assisted analysis of product specifications, and our editorial judgment. Brands cannot pay to be ranked higher, and we do not accept paid placements disguised as editorial.

If a product is unavailable, frequently returned, has known reliability problems, or fails our internal review criteria, we remove or replace it regardless of the commission rate.

We use generative AI tools to summarize verified reviews, compare specifications, and draft initial content. Every published article is then reviewed and approved by a human editor at SmartPicks before it goes live. We disclose AI involvement on each post and we do not fabricate reviewer quotes, ratings, or test results. If we cite a number (a star rating, a price, a benchmark) it comes from a verifiable source — usually Amazon's product page at the time of publication.

Pricing, ratings, and availability change frequently. We make a good-faith effort to keep our content current, but you should always confirm the listed price on Amazon before purchasing.
